1)YMCA-Tan Chin Tuan Community Service Programmes:
-aims to bring joy to the intellectually, physically and mentally challenged through fun and meaningful programmes.
-Provides opportunities for volunteers to do their part for the community through different well-planned and structured programmes. The programmes include Y Visits, Y Outings, Y Camp Challenge, Y Arts Challenge, Y Dance Outreach, Y Care to Dance, Y Green Fingers, Y Reading Clubs, Y Nature Walks, Y Chorus, Y Movie Escapades, Y Festival of Love, Y Proms @ the Park and YMCA Project Bridge.
-unites community by providing platforms for both the less fortunate members of our society and the volunteers to interact and understand one another.
2)YMCA Project Bridge:
-established as a joint effort between YMCA, North West Community Development Council and the National Youth Council to provide support for youths that dropped out of school with the main purpose of integrating them into full time studies or employment.
-assist these youth in finding their calling, by providing them with information, guidance and a listening ear.
-by understanding youths, you bridge the gap between youths and the community
3)Citibank-YMCA Youth For Causes programme :
- promotes social entrepreneurship among the youths in Singapore.
-unites community as the awareness for social issues will be heightened since youths needs to understand these issues before targeting the problems and coming up with solutions for them
4)YMCA Speaking Awards
-aims to improve and breed youths that are communicative and possesses self-confidence
-comprises of the YMCA Plain English Speaking Awards (PESA) and the YMCA Mandarin Speaking Awards (MSA).
-unites the community by raising awareness on different issues faced by the community and provides a platform for open discussion
5)International Programmes:
-organises overseas trips, in collaboration with our YMCA overseas.
-Outreach to the less privileged overseas is extended through its International Service Programmes, Disaster Response Programme and Rebuilding Communities Programme.
-Regular language enrichment programmes and exchange programmes are also organised to forge friendship bonds among local and overseas students.
